Terms of Use

Last updated 8 September 2026 · Swipe2Clean, by THE ALCHEMIST CODE LTD

1. Agreement

By downloading or using Swipe2Clean you agree to these terms. If you obtained the app from the App Store, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement also applies, and prevails over these terms wherever the two conflict.

2. What the app does

Swipe2Clean helps you review your photo library and delete media you no longer want. Deletion is permanent from the app’s point of view. The app asks the operating system to delete the files you have selected, and the operating system shows you its own confirmation before doing so.

Please read this part. Deleted photos and videos may remain in your device’s “Recently Deleted” album for a limited period, but that is a feature of iOS and Android, not of Swipe2Clean, and we cannot recover anything for you. You are responsible for your own backups. We strongly recommend keeping a backup — iCloud Photos, Google Photos or otherwise — before a large cleanup.

3. Premium, subscriptions and trials

4. Refunds

Purchases are handled by Apple and Google, so refunds are theirs to grant. Request one through reportaproblem.apple.com or Google Play. If you believe something went wrong on our side, write to us and we will help you make the case.

5. Acceptable use

Use the app only with media you own or are entitled to manage. Do not attempt to reverse engineer it, circumvent purchase verification, or use it to delete media belonging to someone else without their permission.

6. Disclaimer and liability

The app is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and if you are a consumer your statutory rights are unaffected.

7. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend access if these terms are breached.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.
